It was a sunny morning at CEO Kien’s home. The garden shimmered with dew, and the house was filled with warmth and quiet joy. But today, CEO Kien had an important day at work and needed to spend hours in his office. Before heading in, he gently asked, “Lala, can you help look after Bon today while I finish some work?”
Lala nodded quickly, “Don’t worry! I’ll take good care of him.”
As soon as Kien closed his office door, Lala turned her attention to Bon. The little one was full of energy, bouncing around and giggling. Lala clapped her hands gently, calling him over with a sweet voice. “Let’s play, Bon—but no climbing on the shelves!”
She led Bon to the play mat, brought out colorful blocks, and helped him stack them into tall towers. When Bon accidentally knocked them over, Lala laughed with him instead of getting upset. Her patience and kindness made Bon feel calm and happy.
Later, she fed Bon a small bowl of fruit that she carefully cut into pieces. “Chew slowly,” she reminded him, just like Thuy used to tell her. She even sang a soft song during his afternoon nap, gently patting his back until he drifted off peacefully.
When CEO Kien finally came out of the office, he was greeted by the sight of Bon napping soundly and Lala reading quietly nearby.
“Lala,” he said warmly, “you’ve done such a wonderful job. I’m so proud of you.”
Lala smiled, proud and happy. She had proven that she could be trusted, responsible, and loving—just like a big sister. And in her heart, she knew she was becoming someone that everyone could count on.
