Lala is sad and confused when Lu refuses to play with her!

It was a sunny afternoon in the garden, and Lala was full of energy and excitement. She had just thought of a new game and couldn’t wait to share it with her friend, Lu. With a bright smile, she ran up to Lu, tugging at his hand and inviting him to join in her playful mischief.

But to Lala’s surprise, Lu gently pulled his hand away and shook his head. He didn’t want to play today. Lala’s smile faded, and her little heart sank. She tilted her head, her big eyes blinking with confusion. Why wouldn’t Lu want to play? Was it something she had done?

She tried again, this time waving her favorite toy in front of him and giving her best giggle. But Lu turned away, his mind clearly elsewhere. Lala’s shoulders slumped, and she sat down quietly under the old tree, watching as Lu wandered off to do his own thing.

The garden that had felt so bright and full of promise now seemed a little lonelier. Lala rested her chin in her hands, feeling sad and a little lost. She wondered if Lu was upset with her or if he didn’t like the game she had chosen.

Thuy, their gentle caretaker, noticed Lala’s sad expression and came to sit beside her. She stroked Lala’s head and explained softly that sometimes friends just need a little time alone or might have their own worries to think about. It didn’t mean they didn’t care.

Lala listened carefully, slowly nodding. She realized that while she was eager to play, it was okay for Lu to need his own space. So, she decided to wait patiently and cheerfully, ready to welcome Lu back whenever he was ready to play again.
