The sun had just started to peek over the trees, casting a warm golden light across the little house where Lala lived. As soon as Lala woke up, she stretched her arms and let out a big yawn. She remembered that Thuy had asked her to be extra good today, and she wanted to make her proud.
With sleepy eyes but a determined spirit, Lala got out of bed and padded over to the bathroom. She picked up her tiny toothbrush and squeezed out a little toothpaste, just like Thuy had shown her. Lala brushed her teeth carefully, humming a happy tune to herself. She knew that Thuy would be so happy to see her bright, clean smile!
After rinsing and drying her face, Lala tidied up her room, folding her blanket and putting her toys neatly in the corner. She felt proud of herself for being so obedient. She wanted everything to look nice when Thuy came home.
The morning passed slowly. Lala sat by the window, watching the birds hop around the garden and listening to the distant sounds of the market. She imagined Thuy bustling around the stalls, picking out the freshest fruits and vegetables, always thinking of her.
Lala played with her little toys to pass the time, but every few minutes, she would run to the door, hoping to see Thuy’s familiar smile. She was excited for the delicious lunch Thuy would make and the sweet stories she would tell about her morning at the market.
Finally, just as the sun rose higher in the sky, Lala saw Thuy walking up the path, her basket filled with goodies. Lala ran to her and hugged her tightly, so happy that Thuy was home. Her obedient morning had been worth every moment!
