This morning, the gentle breeze carried a slight chill through the air, and little Lala was up early, her eyes filled with concern. She noticed that Mom was still sleeping on the old wooden bench outside, the early dawn light softening the scene. Lala watched carefully as Mom shivered slightly in her sleep, the cool air making her tremble.
Lala’s little heart filled with worry. She didn’t want Mom to be cold or uncomfortable. So, she tiptoed back into the house, her tiny feet barely making a sound. She searched carefully for the softest, warmest blanket she could find—a fluffy pink one that smelled faintly of fresh flowers and home.
She carefully carried the blanket in her little hands, determined to help Mom stay warm. Even though the blanket was almost too big for her to carry, Lala tugged and pulled until she had it just right. She carefully tiptoed back outside, the blanket trailing behind her like a tiny cape.
