Today was supposed to be a happy day for Baby Leo, but things didn’t go as he had hoped. Poor little Leo woke up full of excitement, but his mom, Libby, seemed to have other plans. Instead of giving him the gentle care he was used to, she ignored his cries for attention. It was as if she didn’t even notice how much he needed her love and warmth.
Leo was so disappointed. He looked around, his tiny face full of confusion and sadness. His mom had always been the one to comfort him, but today she just turned away. It didn’t make any sense—there was no reasonableness to it at all! Poor Leo tried to follow her, his little feet moving fast on the dusty ground, but Libby seemed too busy with her own worries.
His soft fur soon became covered in dust as he searched for her affection, making him look even more lost and disheveled. The more he tried, the more she seemed to push him away. It was heartbreaking to see how quickly his bright little spirit dimmed.
Leo finally stopped and sat down, feeling too tired to keep chasing. His tiny head hung low, and his eyes grew wide with confusion and a touch of fear. Why was his mother acting this way? It wasn’t fair. He needed her more than ever.
Even though he was just a baby, Leo felt like he was losing his mind. He didn’t understand what he had done wrong. But deep down, he still hoped that soon his mother would remember how much he needed her. Leo’s heart was still full of love for Libby, and he just wanted her to see him, dusty and sad, and hold him close once again.
